Trips by Ferry

Picture
Below is a link to a website that gives lots of useful information about all ferries to and from BVI and other BVI islands.
http://www.bestofbvi.com/info/info_bviferry.htm

The following is a just a selection of ferry trips available.  Ferry schedules are subject to change so it’s advisable to confirm times by calling 1 284 495 5235 before setting out.

Virgin Gorda from Road Town or Beef Island. You can then either walk to the baths, take a taxi, or hire a car from about $55 for the day.  The return ferry fare is $30 per person.

The Baths are a well know tourist attraction in Virgin Gorda and a must see if visiting this island.

The Copper Mine is an interesting historic site of note and consists of 18th century ruin.

If you are interested in watersports then a trip to Bitter End Yacht Club in the North Sound makes for an exciting trip.. There is a free ferry from Gun Creek to BEYC.. Free ferry to Saba Rock also leaves from this location.

Jost Van Dyke from West End ferry terminal.
Ferry goes into Great Harbor, home to the famous Foxy’s Restaurant.

There is a taxi service to take you over the hill to White Bay where you will find the equally famous Soggy Dollar Bar.

Cooper Island is a great place to go for the day. I suggest contacting them to ask about ferries because they don’t have a published schedule..

A day sail with Patouche to the Baths also takes you to Cooper Island.

Pirates Bight at Norman Island has a ferry for $20 per person with very small kids being free.

Their ferry goes three times a day from Hannah’s, just past Nanny Cay Hotel in Sea Cows Bay.
